Portal-Proof: Nebraska Returns Its Entire Roster ✍️
Nebraska lost no player with eligibility left to the portal for a second straight year. Both setters are back and the coaches opened the Huskers at No. 1.
While the rest of the top ten shopped the winter portal, Nebraska did nothing. No player with eligibility remaining left the programme, for the second straight year.
Both setters are back. Bergen Reilly is a senior and Campbell Flynn a sophomore on Nebraska's 2026 roster, and setter is the hardest position on a team to replace inside one offseason.
Nebraska Athletics said the Bob Devaney Sports Center reached its 300th consecutive sellout in November 2022. Nebraska is selling out a building it has not had to rebuild a roster for.
Sixty-three coaches opened Nebraska at No. 1 with 57 first-place votes. Continuity is most of the argument they were voting on, because almost nothing else about this roster changed.
There is a reading of that which is complacency. The better one is that a programme nobody can raid is the only kind that gets to plan more than a year at a time.
